Blacksmiths are fortunately not always old men with beards (but some of our blacksmiths are). Alec Steele is a young, enthusiastic blacksmith who makes very beautiful things and brings you along on a ride on his YouTube channel on his quest for more beautiful, better, bigger and more impossible.

The Essential Blacksmith is part of the channel: the Essential Craftsman from Scott Wadsworth. A very informative channel where it comes to his insights as a carpenter, but also with room for his out-of-control hobby: special (paid) instructional videos about learning to forge yourself and what it takes to do so.
