Curious to find out if stained glass is something for you?
In this one-day course, you will learn the basic techniques of this beautiful craft. You’ll choose a design and select your own glass colours to create a unique panel.
You will work with several pieces of glass, allowing you to practise the precise placement of glass in lead – also known as leading. In addition, you will learn how to:

cut, break and grind glass

solder
-
work with the cutting system

recognise different types of glass and lead
This course is an ideal introduction to stained glass. And of course, you will take your handcrafted glass panel home at the end of the day.

Because of the small group size it is also possible to attend this day when you already have (some) experience with stained glass and want to spend the day tinkering with your own ideas, under the supervision of a teacher.
- Duration: 1 day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Goal: Introduction to the traditional art of stained glass setting.
